According to customs statistics, China’s imports and exports of goods in the first half of 2020 totaled RMB 14.24 trillion, decreasing by 3.2 % over the previous year. The decreasing amplitude is narrowing by 1.7% from the previous five months. Among them, exports fell by 3% to RMB 7.71 trillion, while imports fell by 3.3 % to RMB 6.53 trillion. The export of mechanical and electrical products in export products fell by 2.3% to RMB 4.5 trillion, while the export of electric motors and generators fell by 11.3% to 34.8 billion yuan, which was 9% lower than that of the export of mechanical and electrical products.
